Our students can participate is several clubs that provide enrichment in the areas of the arts, sciences, strategy, creativity and more!  The students get the opportunity to get experience with different activities and have a chance to interact with other students.

The days and times vary throughout the week so pay attention to when the clubs are held so you don't sign up for two clubs that meet on the same day.  If a club meets monthly and another club meets weekly at the same day and time your student may sign up for both.  They will miss the weekly club on the day that the monthly club meets.

Battle of the Books

Calling all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade readers! If you are interested in reading books and then competing with other teams throughout the district to text your team knowledge, then this club is for you!  

Grades: 3 - 5
Meets: Monthly on Thursdays - 9/7, 9/21, 10/12, 11/9, 1/18
Time: 2:15 - 3:00 p.m.
Note: If you choose to join this club you will be responsible for reading books from the Sunshine State Reader list. You must be reading the books to remain in the club!

Chess Club

This club provides an excellent opportunity to learn and practice chess skills and strategies.  No experience necessary!

Grades: 2 - 5
Meets: Weekly on Wednesdays
Time: 2:15 - 3:00 p.m.
Dates: 10/4 to 3/6

Chorus

We have 2 concerts and the opportunity to perform at school assemblies and other school events.
Auditions will be held and 5th graders are welcome to join now and 4th graders will be able to join in January.  Students that are auditioning will have to match pitch to the piano, and sing Happy Birthday.  This will provide an opportunity for them to showcase their skills such as staying in key, keeping a steady beat, and using a proper singing voice.

5th graders: September - May
4th graders: January - May

If selected, students will be required to practice once a week on Wednesdays from 2:30 - 3:30 pm. Dismissal is parent pick-up and will be in the bus loop. Aftercare students will report to their aftercare group.
Concerts: Winter Concert in December and Spring Concert in May

Lego Club

If your child loves building with Legos, then this club is for them!  Limited spots, first come, first served.

Grades: 1 - 2
Meets: Weekly on Tuesdays.  1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20
Time:  2:15 - 3:00 p.m.

Newsletter Club

This club gives the students the chance to research and write articles for our student-run quarterly newsletter!

Grades: 4 & 5
Meets: Monthly on Tuesdays,  9/12, 10/10, 11/14, 12/12, 1/9, 2/13, 3/12, 4/9, 5/14
Time: 2:15 - 3:00 p.m.

SECME - Science, Engineering, Communications, Mathematics and Enrichment

This club introduces the students to applying their knowledge of science, engineering, communications and mathematics as they work together to complete projects.  They will get to work on Water Rockets, Mouse Trap Cars, Balsa Wood Bridge Building, Generator designing and construction, creating the club banner - designing to finished product, and so much more!  Students will learn to work together to get a project done and they will have the opportunity to demonstrate the function of their creations at the district SECME Olympiad!

Grades: 4 & 5
Meets: Every Tuesday beginning on 9/19
Time: 2:15 - 3:30 p.m.
