Art Club

Art club meets Tuesday and Wednesdays 2:15 - 3:15. It is open only to 4th and 5th grade students. Mrs. Gellerman is currently working on a middle school portfolio with 5th grade art club students.

Chorus

Forest Hill Owls Chorus is for Fourth and Fifth Graders. We meet on Mondays after school from 2:15 - 3:15 in the Music room. During the first semester, we work on a show for Multicultural Night in December. During the second semester, our focus switches to barred instruments and drumming.

Fit Club

Fit club meets every Monday afternoon 2:15 - 3:15. Fit club is a structured, hands-on way for children to learn proper nutrition and the form for performing different physical activities such as agility ladders, lunges, and shuttle runs. We also focus on eating healthy and eating nutritious, non-processed meals. We teach specific lessons on how our bodies process food to create energy that we need when we are doing yoga, running, lifting weights, or learning new exercises.

Green Team

The Forest Hill Green Team is in charge of all of the recycling efforts here at school. They collect both paper and plastic recyclables from classrooms weekly. They meet on Fridays 2:15 - 3:15.

SECME

The SECME club works on STEM education activities including bridge building, mousetrap cars, a banner competition and more. They meet on Thursdays 2:15 - 3:15.

Soccer Club

Soccer Club meets once-a-week on Wednesdays 2:15 - 3:15 and is open to all 4th and 5th grade students at Forest Hill Elementary. Each week, the kids get an opportunity to put their learned skills to use in organized, competitive game action. Four teams compete with the winner being crowned "Champion of the Week.
