Class Info
How do you get on CNN?

Students who are interested in being part of the Challenger News Network must take an introductory Digital Media Production class in either 6th or 7th grade. This class is one semester long, and will help give you skills that you'll need when working in the CNN studio and on projects for broadcast.
The CNN class is one semester long, and students must be in 7th or 8th grade. Teacher recommendation, excellent conduct & desire to be part of the news crew are essential traits for success in this course. The class focuses on ENG - electronic news gathering - and broadcast journalism. Students will report the news and events around campus, as well as work on individual and group audio/video/multimedia projects.
