    Melissa Reid decided she wanted to be a teacher when she was in first grade. Now, she teaches first grade at Citrus Cove Elementary School. Ms. Reid was nominated by her colleague for going above and beyond for not only her students, but also her peers. She received a $250 check from HCA Florida Healthcare!   • 2023 Grand Battle of the Books

    Avid readers from across the District came together to show off their skills! Battle of the Books is a fun, friendly competition in which teams of students read books from a specified list and then compete in a trivia contest based on those books.

  • Choice and Career and Technical Education (CTE)

    Families with students entering pre-kindergarten through grade 12 have the opportunity to choose from an array of Choice and Career and Technical Education (CTE) theme-based curricula offerings at the elementary, middle, and high school levels that provide innovative and rigorous academic instruction by specially trained teachers.
