  • Suncoast High School is a world-class educational institution located in the heart of Riviera Beach, Florida. The school campus is situated within an International Baccalaureate K-12 continuum with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) at Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School; the Middle Years Programme (MYP) years 1-3 (grades 6-8), at John F. Kennedy Middle School; the MYP years 4 and 5 (grades 9 - 10) at Suncoast High School; and the Diploma Programme (grades 11 – 12) at Suncoast High School.

    Suncoast is a rigorous, four-year college preparatory high school, comprised of four distinct Choice programs: Computer Science (CS), Innovative Interactive Technology (IIT), International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) and Math, Science and Engineering (MSE). As an IB World school, all students enter Suncoast as IB MYP students. Therefore, every eligible student will be able to add the IB Diploma Programme at the end of tenth grade. In addition, Suncoast offers a comprehensive selection of Advanced Placement (AP) courses that provide the opportunity for students to earn an AP International Diploma.

    Suncoast is a complete school-of-choice that offers a well-rounded high school experience for all students. There are more than 100 clubs and organizations, as well as 46 varsity, junior varsity and freshman athletic teams.

    Students gain admission through the School District of Palm Beach County Choice application process that is open to all Palm Beach County students entering grades 9 and 10. Suncoast is recognized as one of America’s best high schools in all the national rankings.
