The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) is a rigorous, college-level, two-year course of study that spans Grades 11 and 12. Suncoast High School has been authorized to offer the IB DP since 1990 and students who enter the program must be dedicated to completing the full diploma experience.  IB Diploma graduates are awarded the Bright Futures Academic Scholars scholarship and usually leave Suncoast with 36 - 45 college credits.  There are several facets to the IB DP, enclosed within these pages, that need to be explored, but the principle matter for students is to operate within the realm of academic honesty.
