Pre-IT provides students with innovative interactive technology. The curriculum is designed to provide students with hands-on lessons with computer software and hardware. Our classes infuse project-based lessons to facilitate hands on practice of knowledge gained in the classroom. The Design Cycle is used in all MYP technology related learning. These stages are designed to give students a process that they can count on for approaching and tackling any endeavor thoroughly and successfully. The four stages are: INVESTIGATE, PLAN, CREATE, and EVALUATE. Students can earn Digital Certifications in the following:

• Web Design Essentials
• Spreadsheet Essentials
• Programming & Logic Essentials
• Gaming Essentials
• Cyber Security Essentials

Students can earn Industry Certifications in the following:

• Site Development Associate
• Certified Internet Business Associate (high school credit)

Students enrolled in the Pre-It program must complete the Choice Application.
