The Bak Mandatory Summer Assignments are for students attending Bak for the 2024-25 school year (SY25). The assignments and requirements listed below are mandatory - students are responsible for the assigned work/knowledge/skills. Students will receive a grade for the summer assignments and will have various assessments/tests based on the requirements for each grade level. Students wait until they come to school to get guidance from their teachers on how/when to submit or bring in their assignments.

The mandatory English Language Arts (ELA) Reading assignment requires students to read a book of their choice. These books can be found at your local library, downloaded or purchased online, or purchased at various locations (e.g., Amazon, Barnes & Noble). Choose the paperback version as this will cost 5.00 to 9.00 dollars. 

The mandatory math assignments are what students should have learned in past math courses, and are assigned based on what math class the student completed last school year. These lessons require students to demonstrate what they know, understand, and are able to do - these are prerequisite math skills for the upcoming course. These are BASIC math skills for the course.
