We celebrate National Literacy Week by inviting special guests to read to our students, engaging students in schoolwide reading motivation activities.  This year's theme was "Book Your Trip -Adventure Awaits".  Every day, students participated participate in various fun-filled activities that created excitement for reading.  We had a contest for classrooms to guess the "Mystery Readers"; students researched various places to visit around the world; dressed like tourists; read aloud with buddies; and were able to exchange books and take home a new book to read.
