The Dr. Seuss celebration for all kindergarten and first grade students is one of the most exciting literacy celebrations for our students. The students participate in an assemble that consists of Dr. Seuss characters, such as The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, Thing 2, and a storyteller narrator and breakfast. The show opens up with a lot of excitement, characters, and students performing. The story, "Green Eggs and Ham," is read aloud with the characters getting the students to interact with the experience. To conclude the fun, our students have green eggs and ham for breakfast!
