Dwyer High School, we understand the importance of students and parents being updated and informed about school events, announcements, deadlines, etc. We aim to make this easy and accessible by publishing our Dwyer High Weekly Newsletter. As we wrap up the 4th week of school, here are some important reminders and updates for our Dwyer High School families, staff, and students:

Yearbook Pictures
Underclassman pictures will be taken during their Language Arts class on September 17 and 18. If you order a picture package before picture day, you can receive $10 off. Go to CADY.com/pictureday for more information.

Homecoming Week (October 15-19)
The Homecoming Dance will be held on October 19 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Mark your calendars for an exciting week of festivities!

Testing Reminder
This is a reminder that all 9th and 10th-grade students will take the FAST ELA PM1 assessment this week. The 9th grade will test on Tuesday, September 9, and the 10th grade will test on Wednesday, September 10. We will be on a modified bell schedule on both days.

Please remind your student to bring their fully charged district-issued laptop to school on the day of testing. They should also bring a jacket in case their testing room gets cold. I appreciate your support in making testing successful this week.

Dwyer AVID Fundraiser Night at Chipotle
Support Dwyer AVID at Chipotle on Tuesday, September 10, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Alton Chipotle. Tell the cashier you are there to support “Dwyer AVID,” or use code WG32WLE for online/mobile orders. 25% of the proceeds will go to support our AVID program.

Open House
Parents, please join us for Open House on September 10, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to meet your student's teachers and learn more about the school year!

Visits and College Fair Information
Juniors and Seniors can sign up for Dwyer College visits using this link. Check often to see which colleges will be visiting our campus!

The District’s College and Career Fair will be held at the South Florida Fairgrounds-Expo Center East at 9067 Southern Boulevard, West Palm Beach, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Also, save the date for the North Palm Beach County College Fair on March 12, 2024, from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM at Dwyer High School!
