Description: Bring your friends and gather around the card table to learn Canasta!!! This eight-week program will introduce you to the game that everyone is playing. Quickly learn the objective of the game, how to play, playing as teams, and other basic strategies. Two decks of cards, paper, a pen, and the desire to activate your brain are all you need. Come join the fun!!!

Mah Jongg Craze

This class will teach you the art of playing the game of Mah Jongg. Participants will learn the NMJL rules and strategies for winning the game. Players will have hands on training and meet potential players to form your own social game. This game will entertain you while stimulating your brain.

Description: Keep your brain active and stimulated in this easy-to-learn introduction to Mah Jongg! This ancient Chinese game dates back 2000 years ago and is a game of skill, wit, and strategy using tiles. Similar to the game of Rummy, Mah Jongg requires at least four people to play, as well as a 2022 National Mah Jongg League playing card that shows what hands to make. These cards can be purchased online at www.nationalmahjonggleague.org or at the Festival Flea Market in Pompano Beach. Come and learn what everyone is talking about: The wonderful exciting game of Mah Jongg!
