Cambridge International: College/Bright Futures

  • Cambridge International AS/A Level Exams and College Credits

    Both Cambridge International AS and A Levels are considered college level courses of study, and students passing these examinations with a grade of E or higher may receive college credit or advanced standing based on their scores in these examinations from universities throughout the United States and all public universities and colleges in Florida.

    Please note that each US university sets its own policy and students are advised to contact the admissions office at the university of interest to learn its credit by examination policy for International AS and A Levels. College credit is typically awarded based on each subject and the examination grade earned. Click here to search for U.S. Colleges and Universities that take AICE Cambridge credits.  

    AICE Diploma and Bright Futures

    Students who earn an AICE Diploma based on exams taken within a twenty-five month period, complete 100 hours of community service, and submit their Florida Financial Aid Applications by their high school graduation date will automatically earn the Florida Academic Scholars award.  

    Students who take seven Cambridge International courses and exams but do not earn the AICE diploma may still may still qualify for Bright Futures provided they earn the required SAT/ACT test scores and complete the required community service hours.
