Palm Beach Virtual School offers courses on an individual or part-time basis during the traditional school year calendar (August to May). As a brick and mortar or Home Education student, you may select multiple courses without being enrolled in our full-time program. Palm Beach Virtual School offers part-time courses within the FLVS Flex platform, Edgenuity Virtual Academy and Canvas.
*Brick and mortar requests are approved by the school counselor*
*Home Education requests are approved by the parent/guardian*
*All courses taken with Palm Beach Virtual School must be completed by May 23rd, 2025*CHOOSE Palm Beach Virtual School when available to enroll with the district's local virtual franchise of FLVS.

Please be aware that neither full nor part-time enrollment is available for School Choice scholarship recipients who wish to maintain the scholarship and also take virtual courses. These recipients are required to self-pay for courses taken, which is not an option with PBVS.

Canvas at Palm Beach Virtual School
Part-timeCanvas is the chosen Learning Management System (LMS) for the State University System of Florida by the FL Board of Governors. Using Canvas provides students with preparation for post-secondary success.
This system is accessed through single sign-on directly in the student's SDPBC district portal. Simply submit the form below to be added to a course. The courses are taught in Canvas by Florida Certified Palm Beach County teachers.
