The Village of Wellington continues to be an outstanding partner with Wellington-area schools and the School District of Palm Beach County, and has been instrumental to the academic success of students.
This year, the esteemed Keely Spinelli grant was increased to $407,000 with the following 11 Wellington schools receiving $37,000 each to aid students in reading and math:

The grant is named in honor of the late Binks Forest Elementary School principal Keely Spinelli who passed away in 2008. Since its inception, the Village of Wellington has awarded more than $2 million to Wellington schools. The Village was formally recognized by the Palm Beach County School Board during its regular board meeting on December 13. The District appreciates the significant contribution, and makes a special acknowledgment to the following individuals from the Village:
