The purpose of the Department of Extended Learning is to facilitate opportunities for quality afterschool programs which meet the fundamental needs common to all students during afterschool hours. It is important that students have access to the best possible opportunities to develop into healthy, well adjusted and responsible adults.
After School Staff
Our staff working in our after school program are highly qualified.
Staff must gain clearance through District security and background checks and are Level 2 screened through Clearinghouse.
Staff are First Aid/CPR/AED certified and must complete twelve additional hours of professional development annually.
We are extremely lucky to have staff both devoted to helping our students become STAR Citizens, while achieving their personal goals.Activities:
We offer help with homework, and also extra-academic activities, arts and crafts, cooking, game room, computer lab, and many more activities. If you are interested please contact us at (561) 330-3930
Plumosa Middle School After-School Program Interest Form
Please complete this quick survey indicating your interest in having your child enroll in our after-school program. We have 30 seats available and will select students on a first come basis. The program hours are from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The program is free of charge for Plumosa Middle School students.
