Career Academies offer advanced learning opportunities for students. These programs are part of the quality and diverse educational opportunities offered by the Department of Choice Programs in Palm Beach County. Each academy program will focus on student academic achievement. They provide field-based and hands-on learning experiences.
Career Academies introduce different aspects of an industry to better prepare students for post-secondary learning and a wide spectrum of career options. Common components of career academies include curriculum with a career-related focus, college-prep, industry certifications, and partnerships with employers, community members, and higher education.
