Performance Management
-
All departments of The School District of Palm Beach County have adopted a continuous improvement performance management model. The performance management system focuses on:
- Accountability for improvement goals
- Coaching, providing feedback and providing growth opportunities
- Alignment throughout the organization
All departments and school district administrators engage in a goal-setting process that involves planning, regular check-ins, coaching, feedback and evaluation. Division and department goals cascade down to employee goals that focus on measurable results. A coaching and check-in model is used to check on progress-to-goal measures and adjust as necessary, while driving towards results. Guidance is available through training sessions and digital resources through the employee performance management resource site.
