Recognition Information
Each year, the School District of Palm Beach County recognizes its Teacher and School-Related Employee of the Year (such as paraprofessionals, secretaries, food service staff, custodians, bus drivers mechanics, and office managers) for their outstanding contributions to our students, schools, and communities. The Superintendent will visit the two winners at their respective schools or work location to make the announcement in March and both winners will be recognized at the April Board meeting by the Superintendent and Board.

The School District invites businesses and community organizations to get involved in making this recognition event a success by considering a sponsorship to provide the following: donations of $1,000 to $5,000, gift cards, and weekend hotel stay for two-four persons, and complimentary services. All philanthropic gifts made to the School District through the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County are tax-deductible.

The recognition will be publicized to 23K District employees; promoted through a media advisory, Facebook post with 45k subscribers; Twitter with 33k subscribers; plus 4k subscribers to the Superintendent’s page. Sponsors’ representatives will be included at the Board presentation (televised) and Principal meeting announcements, as well as in a District produced video that will be shown on The Education Network (TEN), YouTube and to various audiences. In exchange for your generosity, contributing businesses/organizations will receive the following:

• Promotion in District internal newsletter
• Inclusion in District web story about Teacher and School-Related Employee of the Year Event

Event Recognition:

• Recognition by Superintendent at School Board meeting (date TBA)
• Company logo displayed in event program
• Company logo displayed on pop-up event banner
• Company recognition from the podium at event

• Promotion on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
• Web story on School District home page
